To our Govenda customer community: As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread, we have a heightened awareness at Govenda of our responsibility to our communities. We have three priorities guiding our decisions during this time of uncertainty: to keep our employees safe, to ensure service to our customers and partners, and to do our part in preventing the spread of the virus.
For many years, we’ve developed, enhanced, and maintained our business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure our business, and yours, continue to run smoothly in the event of a major disruption. We are engaging our resilient and distributed infrastructure and our workforce – already adept at remote work and virtual collaboration – to support continued 24x7x365 operations. We are confident that you will continue to receive the same high level of availability, service and support that you’ve come to expect.
We also recognize we have a larger role to play in our communities, and are doing our part to minimize any contribution to the spread of the virus by encouraging employees to work from home and practice healthy habits, canceling large gatherings, and pausing non-essential travel. All of our stringent security protocols will remain in place for our employees who are working remotely.
Finally, given the fluid nature of these events, we’ve set up a dedicated team to closely monitor the developments surrounding COVID-19 and develop appropriate plans in real-time so we can respond to various scenarios that may occur.
